Char Johnson

Char is a former ballet professional, with a foundational background in gymnastics and acrobatics as well. Char has always had a life long love and affinity for movement, performance, fitness, biomechanics and exercise science. Char has a lot of diverse experience and training, including: barre, ballet and dance based hybrids, Pilates, yoga and therapeutic yoga, Olympic and power lifting, aerial fitness, indoor cycling, indoor rowing, TRX, HIIT, group strength formats, corrective exercise, post rehabilitation training, flexibility/mobility modalities, strength and conditioning, and pregnancy and postpartum fitness and corrective exercise.

Char holds numerous certifications, including: NASM CPT (certified personal trainer), NASM CES (corrective exercise specialist), PCES (pregnancy and postpartum corrective exercise specialist), Schwinn M Power Indoor Cycling, TRX, ZUU (functional fitness), Crunch Fitness Group HIIT and Group Strength Certifications, FMS (Functional Movement Systems), I.S.S.A (Vinyasa Flow specialist), Clark College Certified Yoga Instructor, YogaFit, Yin yoga, and NCCA Certified Yoga Instructor. Char’s classes and training style are dynamic, energetic and purposefully rooted in self-empowerment, and finding joy in the effort.
